Mountains of Scotland contains only limited personal data i.e. trip report photographs of identifiable individuals occasionally including text providing forename only. All photographs are taken in the public domain. The Legal Basis for processing personal data is consent. No special category data is processed. Individuals can withdraw consent at any time by contacting the site webmaster. On withdrawing consent, the photograph will either be removed or features will be obfuscated to render individual unidentifiable.

The Mountains of Scotland website, including all photographs, is hosted by Hostinger which is based in the United Kingdom.
