I ascended King's Seat today on the way home from a weekend walking in Glen Etive. Nice short easy walk.
I parked on the verge at Over Buttergask cottages where there is room for one or two cars.

Start of walk:

I then followed a good track leading towards the hill.

Track towards hill:

On reaching the end of the track, I went through a rusty gate and followed the track skirting round Round Law.

Ascent skirting Round Law:

I then left the main track and followed a narrow faint track leading to the col between Round Law and King's Seat.

King's Seat from side of Round Law:

At the col, I had to climb over a small fence. I then ascended one of the grassy lines in between the areas of heather.

Looking back to Round Law from King's Seat:

It didn't take long to reach the summit. Good clear views from the summit but wouldn't say the views were spectacular.

Summit of King's Seat:

Geese above King's Seat:

I descended to the col via another grassy line before again skirting round Round Law and walking out along the good track to the car.
