An enjoyable few hours spent at Cummingston this evening.
Thanks to Graeme and Dan for allowing an ageing, ex-climber to second a few routes .

Graeme led Gorse Route on Sunshine Wall. The route was then seconded by Paul, myself, Jack, Andy and Simon.

The guidebook suggests Severe, a majority on UK Climbing think it is Hard Severe.
I certainly thought it was quite hard and strenuous for a Severe!

This was only the second time I’ve climbed at Cummingston, the first time was way back in 2003.
I must admit I don’t like or trust the rock at Cummingston but it is a fantastic location.
