Hill: Bin of Cullen
Date: Saturday 6th February 2021
Company: Myself, Ann-Marie and Cuillin
Distance: 5.3km, Ascent: 230m

On 6th February 2021 I undertook my first hillwalk of 2021, an ascent of local Bin of Cullen.

In recent weeks I had had several failed attempts to ascend hills in the southern Cairngorms due to closed snow gates and lack of available parking; car parks and lay-bys were purposefully not being cleared of snow with the Glenshee Car Park also purposefully blocked-off with barricades of snow. Public authorities have been trying their best to discourage hillwalking and skiing during lockdown despite being permitted in law within your own local authority and up to five miles beyond.

It was great therefore to get out for a short walk up my local hill. Having not seen my friend Ann-Marie in months we arranged to meet for a socially-distanced walk.

Not going to say anymore about the walk as I already have five Trip Reports on the site for this hill. Just a number of pics to follow .
